In connection with the Services, users may provide or input information relating to vehicles and associated assets, including but not limited to:

  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
  • Make, model, and year

  • Ownership and acquisition details
  • Maintenance history and service records
  • Modification and build information

Vintrak may use VINs and related identifiers to retrieve or infer vehicle specifications from third-party data providers.

2.3 User-Generated Content

Users may upload, store, or transmit content through the Services, including:

  • Photographs
  • Notes, logs, and annotations
  • Documents (e.g., invoices, receipts, insurance materials)

Such content may contain Personal Information at the discretion of the user.

2.4 Usage and Technical Data

Vintrak automatically collects certain technical and usage-related information, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Device identifiers
  • Browser type and configuration
  • Operating system
  • Referring/exit pages
  • Interaction data, including page views and feature usage

Vintrak utilizes Google Analytics and similar tools to analyze such information.

2.5 Infrastructure and Service Provider Data

Vintrak's Services are supported by third-party infrastructure providers, including but not limited to:

  • Vercel (application hosting and deployment)
  • Supabase (database and backend services)
  • DreamHost (website hosting)

These providers may process technical and operational data as necessary to deliver the Services.

3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

Vintrak processes information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • To create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
  • To store, organize, and present vehicle-related data
  • To analyze usage trends and improve system performance
  • To communicate with users regarding the Services

4. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Vintrak does not sell Personal Information.

Vintrak may disclose information in the following circumstances:

Vintrak may disclose information to third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers that perform services on our behalf, including hosting, analytics, and infrastructure support.

Such parties are contractually obligated to process information solely in accordance with Vintrak's instructions.

Following account deletion, Vintrak may retain certain information in backup systems or archives for a limited period, consistent with operational, legal, and security requirements.

Vintrak implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and Vintrak does not guarantee absolute security.

  • Operate and maintain the Services

Vintrak does not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18. If such information is identified, Vintrak will take reasonable steps to delete it.
